The conditions are holding up well with this dry and hot weather. These last couple of evenings have been too warm and watering at night is very dangerous, even with control products out there (we had some minor out breaks of pythium on fairways and will spot spray today). Pythium is a devastating disease and can kill a green overnight. Watering can be detrimental, even though the grass wants it. Need to choose the right battles at the right time. Hey did I forget to tell you....we got a whopping .1" last night. This should get me till noon. Come out and enjoy!
